Understanding question configuration in Team Battle
Team Battle questions have several configurable fields.
Question | The trivia question that will be shown to Team Battle players. |
Point Values | A comma-separated list of point values that will be awarded to the 1st place team, 2nd place team, etc. Point values are not required for each team, just for the placement that will be awarded points. For example, "100, 50, 25" will award 100 points to first place, 50 points to second place, and 25 points to third place. Any teams finishing below third place will receive 0 points. Another example: "100" without any other values will award 100 points to first place and 0 points to all other teams. |
Choice #1 Choice #2 Choice #3 Choice #4 Choice #5 | These are the choices that will be shown to Team Battle players, which they will pick from when responding. Not all choices need to be used, but at least one choice must contain a text value. We recommend 3 or 4 choices per question. |
Correct Answer | Trivia questions must have a correct answer, so that placement and scoring can be determined. |
Create a question in Team Battle
From the Team Battle dashboard, click Create New Question.
This will open a pop-up box.
Configure the question as needed, and click Create Question to save the new question.
Edit a question in Team Battle
From the Team Battle dashboard, identify a question to edit, and click Edit Question.
This will open a pop-up box with the question's configuration.
Make any configuration changes needed and then click Save Question.
Remove a question in Team Battle
Follow the steps noted for editing a question, and click Remove Question.
Then confirm removal in the confirmation pop-up.
Re-order questions in Team Battle
From the Team Battle dashboard, use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to reorder questions.
The change will be saved and reflected instantly in the interface.
