Team Battle can be a really fun quiz game for your attendees, but it's important to understand how scoring works since it is based on percentage calculations of players who answer correctly on each team.

Summary of Scoring

When a question is opened for the teams to answer, the team with the largest percentage of players who answer correctly, wins. In other words, the app will count the number of players who answered correctly, and then divide that by the total number of players on that team to calculate a percentage of players who got it right. The app makes this calculation for each team, and the team with the highest percentage of players who answered correctly, wins the 1st Place points that you assigned for that question. Then the team who had the second highest percentage of players who answered correctly, will receive the 2nd Place points assigned for the question, and so on.

Note: If a team failed to have any players answer correctly, that team is ineligible to receive any points. If two teams have the exact same percentage of players who answered correctly, the app calculates which team had the fastest average response time to determine the winner. Also, a team will not be penalized by those who don't respond at all to the quiz question. When the game calculates how many players answered correctly, it uses the "total number of respondents" rather than "total number of players".
