This article will familiarize you with the parts of your Conferences i/o app's URL.


Identifying the URL components

App name

The App name is the unique identifier for your app, and is usually some form of your organization's name. This can be changed, if necessary, by contacting support. Some organizations have multiple apps, which are all logically separate from each other.


The domain name for all apps is and cannot be changed.

Session ID

A unique, four-character session ID is generated when a session is created. This cannot be customized. 

Note: You do not need to know the session ID to access the app's home page, which will display a listing of the currently active sessions.

Retrieving your App/URL

If you've established a relationship with our sales team, they will send an email with the URL to your app and the preset passwords for moderators and admins. 

If the initial set up email cannot be found and you do not know your URL, contact Customer Support.
